I am: a self-taught photographer, owner of a one-woman business, holder of a graduate English degree, Orlando native, mother of two rowdy girls, wife to one patient husband. Lover of Wilco, the iPad, TOMS shoes, and french fries from Five Guys. Collector of mid-century modern pottery and vintage cameras. Admirer of antique postcards and vibrant color. Teller of big stories, capturer of small moments. Member of Professional Photographers of America and National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Cautiously optimistic, sensitive, detail-obsessed. Like a duck–serene on the outside, paddling furiously underneath. Steadfast in the belief that choosing me to safeguard your memories is a job to be taken very seriously. Dipped in sunshine, of course.
I have been: a writer, college professor, graduate student, internet entrepreneur. Not necessarily in that order. Voted “Most Dedicated” in my high school yearbook.
Photography is my second (eighth?) act, my dream job, the unexpected alchemy of my education, creativity, and life experience.
My name is Anna. I’d like to take your picture.
